Synthetic Motor Oil – Better than Conventional Oil?

Synthetic Motor oils as the name suggests are man made, and can consist of an organic compound such as soya bean, canola or plastic resin based. The older, so called conventional or regular oil is petroleum based.

Synthetic motor oils are more expensive than the petroleum based alternative, however because it does not ‘gum up’ or leave unwanted deposits in the engine, it does not need to be changed as often.
